Sunday 8th October saw the latest Armagh 4 mile and 10 mile Road Races. As ever both events were hugely popular and well organised. The club had a great turn out in all events across age groups, with a great female senior team participating for the first time. The Junior Male and Female 4 mile races were led home by the Joseph and Ella Haynes respectively, with Micky Kelly taking first place overall in the race.
The senior races were led home by Laura Graham (Mourne Runners) in 57:17:10 and Eoghan Totten (Newcastle AC) in 50:32:20.
Gary Henderson led home the Armagh AC runners in 56:16:80 with Kathryn Rafferty the leading club female in 1:11:59. Armagh AC males won the team category with Gary Henderson, Lochlainn Connolly and Paul McAnespie being the scoring trio. Armagh AC females in their first team outing were runners up to Beechmount Harriers, with Kathryn Rafferty, Marie McGorman and Kerrie Hamilton the scoring trio.

Well done everyone. A big thank you goes out all helpers and marshals on the day – it wouldn’t be possible without you. A thank you also to Armagh. Banbridge and Craigavon Council, Digbys restaurant and Armagh Sports and Trophies for their continued support and sponsorship, and to the staff at Navan Fort Centre for being brilliant hosts yet again. Some images from the day can be seen in the gallery below – apologies to anyone we missed out.
