Flagstaff to Carlingford Mountain Race

It was a glorious day in Carlingford for the Annual Armagh AC / NIMRA Flagstaff to Carlingford Mountain Race. Record numbers of runners participated (68), and while glorious weather made it easy to marshal and spectate, it made for difficult running with temperatures reaching 25 degrees.

With the race over, competitors gathered in the Foy Centre for post-race refreshments and prize giving. Congratulations to all competitors, especially Armagh AC members Paul Hollywood and Padraig Muldoon and also Micheal Burton (Director of Armagh Planetarium and Observatory).

A special thanks also to all who marshalled, officiated and to the Foy Centre for hosting the after event.
